Photography life

I became hyperfocused on my photography a few days ago. I used to be into taking good photographs when I was studying BA Fine Art. I even bought myself my first DSLR in the first year. I wanted a professional camera since I was a child, but my dad didn't believe in investing in quality items for good photographs.

I was editing the previous photographs I took from art exhibitions etc., and I liked the diptych way of putting the photographs together. I used Photoshop to attach the frames to create a new dimension of looking at the photos. It's like a hybrid art-photography intersection that I'm focusing on. I don't have strong technical skills (yet), but I've got a sense for framing the photos from studying fine art. I mostly rely on intuition rather than calculating the mathematical proportions.

I rather like Lukas Korschan's way of framing the world, but I want to go further by adding rectangular boxes to create a more cinematic aesthetic.

I've shared what I consider my strongest photographs on this post, but here's more of my photography - jasminelee.com/photography

I might start photography again after a "hiatus", but I'm aware I have many interests already. I've got my ADHD developmental history appointment later today. Wish me luck.
